Heat Treatment
The heat treatment step in the nipper and scissors manufacturing process plays an important role in improving the mechanical properties of the material.
Heating the material to high temperature to soften and homogenize the grain structure of the metal.
The material is held at this temperature for a certain period of time before undergoing a rapid water quenching process, which creates a harder structure.
The final stage is relaxation, in which the product is reheated at a lower temperature to relieve stress and improve ductility. In this way, heat treatment not only increases the hardness and fatigue strength of the pliers, but also reduces brittleness, giving the product strength.
